Beach Whiskey Adds Organic Vodka to Its Portfolio With the Acquisition of American Harvest

American Harvest uses a farm-to-bottle philosophy that allows customers to know where the ingredients are being sourced

American Harvest is a Double Gold Medal-winner in the San Francisco World Spirits Competition.

The Beach Whiskey Company is expanding its selection of naturally flavored coconut and cinnamon whiskey to include American-made organic vodka with the company’s acquisition of American Harvest Vodka.

American Harvest creates its products in small batches from American wheat and distilled with 100 percent certified organic ingredients, according to the company’s Facebook page.

The wheat is grown from an estate in a single family farm, with water from a protected source beneath the Snake River Water basin in the Pacific Northwest.

"Organic and craft spirits have shown significant growth over the past five years, and Double Gold Medal-winner American Harvest has already shown its ability to stand apart from other super-premium vodkas," Smoke Wallin, Beach Whiskey Company CEO, said in a statement.

"Now is the time for a national organic craft vodka, and American Harvest Vodka fits seamlessly into the Beach Whiskey portfolio while accelerating our national growth plans.”

Tito's Vodka

Tito's Handmade Vodka is a vodka brand made by Fifth Generation, founded by Tito Beveridge in 1997 [1] in Austin, Texas — specializing in vodka made from yellow corn, rather than potatoes or wheat. [2] [3] It is distilled 6 times and unaged. [4]

Marketing its brand as Tito's Handmade Vodka, the company originally craft-distilled its products in copper pot stills at Texas' first legal distillery. [5] [4] [2] By 2001, the brand was no longer a micro-distillery, having surpassed the industry standard of 40,000 cases for a craft distillery as defined by the Distilled Spirits Council of the United States (DISCUS).

Now made in a facility with ten floor-to-ceiling stills and equipment bottling 500 cases an hour, [6] the brand recorded a sales volume of approximately 3.8 million 9 liter cases in the United States as of 2016 [7] and a market share of 7.1% of the United States Vodka market as of 2017. [8]
